The Degree awarded by the Department of Educational Mechanical Engineering of ASPAITE provides the right to teach in the specialty in Secondary Education, while it is also a degree of professional specialty which in terms of professional rights is equal and equivalent to that of TEI.

The degree has both titles, the one of teacher and the one of professional specialty, with a single degree.
The degree is granted after studies of ten academic semesters, which include the semester of thesis preparation and internship in the specialty (Article 29 “Issues of the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (ASPETE)” of N. 4186/2013 “Restructuring of Secondary Education and other provisions”, Government Gazette 193 τ.Α΄ / 17-9-2013).
The Department grants to the graduates of the Diploma Supplement in Greek and English according to the model developed by the European Commission, the Council of Europe and UNESCO / CEPES.
